Manually Configuring a Gigaset N300 or N510
To manually provision your N300 or N510 you will need to follow the below instructions:
Browse to the IP address of the base station, this can be obtained by pressing the pairing button on the front of the base station, if the base station is powered up it will be blue. Once pressed the paired handsets will be paged with the IP address of the base station.
Once on the basestation enter your basestations pin, by default this will be: 0000
Now select the "Settings" tab at the top of the page

Then click on "Telephony" and you should be on the "Connections page".
On then "Connections" page press Edit on IP1
On this page you will need to fill out the the following:
Connection name or number: - Name of the User or Extension number
Authentication name: - This is the SIP Username on Uboss
Authentication password: - This is the SIP Password on Uboss
Username: - Lineport without domain
Display name: - Name of the User/Extension

Now press "Show advanced settings"
In the advanced settings fill out the following:
Domain: - This is the domain of the lineport listed on Uboss
Proxy server address: - sbc.insmartcloud.com
Proxy server port: - 5060
Registration server: - sbc.insmartcloud.com
Registration server port: - 5060
Registration refresh time: - 180
Outbound proxy mode: - Always
Outbound server address: - sbc.insmartcloud.com
Outbound proxy port: - 5060
Then press "Set"

To map a handset go to "Number Assignment"
In the "for outgoing calls" column select the connection name you chose when registering the device
In the "for incoming calls" column tick the connection name you chose when registering the device, and untick the other options

If you wish to change the name displayed on the handset change the name in the "Name" field next to INT 1, INT 2 etc
Once done press "Set"
Factory Resetting a Gigaset N300 or N510
The Gigaset N300 and N510's can be factory resetting via a registered handset as shown in this video:
Alternatively to factory reset via the base station itself you can follow the instructions below:
- Unplug the base unit from the power
- Hold down the “Connect” button on the base.
- Power on the device while keeping the “Connect” button pressed and wait 15 seconds until the “Connect” button starts to blink fast.
- Release the “Connect” button.
- Your base will now be reset.
The factory reset will unpair all handsets. Please follow the regular process to re-pair the handsets:
- Press and hold the button on the front of the base unit for around 5 seconds
- On the handset, go to Settings >> Registration >> Register Handset
- When prompted, enter the PIN as 0000
- The handset will then pair
