INTERNATIONAL HIGH RISK NUMBERS
We now automatically bar high risk countries. The list of these countries is based on information received from industry groups monitoring telephone fraud. These numbers are barred by default. Please be aware that calls to these numbers are known to be used for fraudulent call traffic which is also typically higher priced. We do offer credit locking by default, but partners are responsible for any fraudulent traffic to these or any other destination. If you would like the bar to be lifted a ticket needs to be raised via the Uboss portal including the following:-
Users/ Telephone numbers that need access
Statement confirming you continue to accept liability for all call charges including the paragraph: “We understand the increased risk associated with the bars being lifted and accept the increased risk of fraud. We also understand that we remain liable for the cost of any fraudulent calls made on all extensions”
