Announcement Repository (for Auto Attendants, Hunt Groups, Call Centres etc.)

Uploading a New Greeting/Recording at Business Level

Log into Uboss and at the business level select ‘Settings’ from the left hand menu.

Next select ‘Announcements’ from the menu options and on the next screen press ‘Add’

Here you can upload your recording from your local drive. Just complete the ‘Name’ and choose the relevant file. Ensure you tick the box confirming you own the recording and then press ‘Save’.

Using the New Greeting/Recording

At business level select Assignments->Service Assignments and then select the required service from the right hand side. In this example I am adding the new greeting to an Auto Attendant.

On the next screen, select the Business Hours tab, uncheck the Use Default Greeting box and select your greeting from the dropdown box.

Press Save at the bottom of the screen and that greeting will be played on the next call.

Uploading a New Message at Service Assignment Level

You can also upload messages directly to the relevant Service Assignment e.g. Auto Attendant.

At business level select Assignments->Service Assignments and then select the Auto Attendant from the right hand side.

Select the Announcement Repository tab and then press Add on the next screen. Now just upload the greeting as before, give it a name, tick the box to confirm you own the recording and then press save.

This recording will only be available for this specific service.
