Flexible Seating is a service that allows a phone to become a Flexible Seating Host. This is a device that is not associated to a specific user and cannot be used to dial any numbers.
The device will have a "Flex In" button which when pressed will prompt for a users extensions and portal password(voicemail password). If a user has the Flexible Seating Guest service assigned, then when these credentials are entered the phone will download user specific configuration and the device will be associated to that user to enabled calling.
Once "flexed in", there will be an option to "flex out" and the device will go back to being a simple host waiting for the next user to login. There is also a configuration option in Uboss to force the user to "flex out" after a pre-determined time.
