Uboss - Deleting a GSM Mobile User (O2/Vodafone)

GSM Mobile User Only

  1. Go to the User’s profile page and press ‘Delete’ and confirm. This will put the user into quarantine (in blue). Select the user again and press the 'Delete Now' button at the bottom of their profile page.

2. Next, at site level, go to Devices in the left hand menu and then select the Mobile SIMs tab.  If you need help in finding the correct SIM, on the right hand side of the screen is the columns button (six lines in a box), select this and then tick the Phone Number so this will then appear on the screen.

3.  Find and select the SIM card of the user you just deleted and on the next screen press Delete and then confirm. This creates a ticket to the Support team who will then delete the user on the mobile network and charges will cease after 30 days.

4.  Finally, go the customer’s phone numbers and release the deleted number from the site/customer.


Hosted User with a GSM Mobile SIM

1.  If the user has other licences/devices e.g. hosted licence, then you will need to remove the Mobile SIM device from the user. 

2. Go to the user profile, select Devices in the left hand menu and then select the required device (SIM), click on the blue button with the three dots next to it and then press delete followed by confirm.  This creates a ticket to the Support team who will then delete the user on the mobile network and charges will cease after 30 days.

3.  Finally, go the customer’s phone numbers and release the deleted number from the site/customer.
