This guide details the process to follow to factory reset a phone handset.

Poly VVX

  1. Press the Home button on the handset to enter the main menu
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Go to Advanced
  4. Enter the password which is CmbczpL3 or hqnf7Tt5 (use the mode and encoding button to switch between numbers and letters)
  5. Go to Admin Settings
  6. Go to Reset to Defaults
  7. Select the option Reset to Factory
  8. Confirm by pressing Yes

Yealink

  1. The phone should be powered on and idle
  2. Hold the OK button down for at least 5 seconds
  3. When prompted for a factory reset click OK
  4. If prompted for a password the password is hqnf7Tt55

Cisco 6841
