In some instances your Grandstream WP810 or 822 will require a manual firmware upgrade, the following steps will guide you through how to do this.
Before undertaking these steps you will need to enable the Web GUI access via the device settings on Uboss:
Once this is done and the device has been rebooted, find the handsets IP address and navigate to this via your web browser, and enter the admin details.
Menu -> Status -> Network Status -> IPv4 Address
You can find the devices admin password under the device settings.
When you gain access to the Web GUI, hover over the Maintenance tab at the top and select "Upgrade and Provisioning"
You can download the minimum required firmware here.
Once you have downloaded the required firmware file click the start button.
You will be presented a pop where you can drag and drop the downloaded firmware file or select your file using file explorer and then click start again this will start the firmware upgrade.
Once this is complete your handset will reboot automatically and from this point forward the firmware will be manageable through Uboss.
