# BW - Group Paging - How to Configure

Group Paging is a method to instantly alert several phones and connect them in to a multi-party conference with the originator. Please note this service replaces the Push To Talk/Instant Group Call method.

This is a Business or Site service and can be assigned in Uboss in the following way:-

At Business level select Services->Add->Select BW-Group Paging and click on Assign.

Next complete the new instance page, and click on save when completed.

**Instance ID(Mandatory):** Meaningful unique ID for the service(must not contain any spaces) **Instance Name(Mandatory):** Meaningful name for the service. **Description:** Can be filled out if required **Calling Line ID First Name(Mandatory):** First name that will be displayed on the receiving parties phone. **Calling Line ID Last Name(Mandatory):** Last name that will be displayed on the receiving parties phone. VoIP Number: Can be either extension only or a DDI number. **Extension(Mandatory):** Free type an extension or choose next available by clicking on the “GET NEXT EXTENSION” button. **Time Zone:** This will be the same as the time zone of the business but can be changed if required. Calling Line id to deliver: Can be either the CLI of the Paging group or the originating users. **Confirmation Tone Sending Timeout:** Option of 1 to 20 seconds, the time an audible tone is played when the call is answered. **Charge Department:** Department can be changed if required.

Now to complete the paging group setup select the paging group you have just completed:

There are 4 tabs: **General:** The page we have just completed.

**Call Policies:** These can be left as default

**Originators:** Here you can choose which users can initiate a call to the paging group, you can search for specific users or add all users if you wish.

**Targets:** Here you can choose which users will receive the paging calls.

*Please note that an instant group call can have a maximum of 75 Targets *

#### Make a Group Paging Call.

Simply dial the number that is assigned to the group paging service, and the targets will all auto answer and hear the initiator.
