Enabling/Migrating Call2Teams Go

Call2Teams Go is the next evolution of the C2T Phone App. Functionality is much improved with this update, hold/resume and transferring can now be achieved in the main active call window and the previous issue of Teams still ringing when another device answers a call is now resolved.

Pricing remains the same on the Uboss side, and the license is still only available in the Teams Calling C & D packages, however, there is now a requirement that the end customer must have at least one Microsoft Teams calling license. This is required as there have been some changes in the Microsoft environment that requires this service to use a Teams resource account.

A teams resource account is the type of account used for a Teams AA or call queue which now needs a license. These licenses are free however, you need to have a Teams calling license to get these. Any Teams calling license is fine to use and the lowest cost option is the Microsoft Teams Phone Standard without Calling Plans license. This can be ordered from your MS license provider or from MS themselves. As soon as you have purchased one you will get 25 of the Teams Resource account licenses FOC.

Once you have obtained this you can proceed with the following steps to enable Call2Teams GO.

Step 1

Login to https://admin.call2teams.com as the Global Administrator for the business.

Step 2

Go to the Services tab

Step 3

Go the Teams tab

Step 4

Click on "Authorize Phone App for My Organization

Step 5

Click on "Authorize Phone App Bot for My Organization"

Step 6

You will presented with a permissions window, these must be Accepted to continue

Step 7

Perform a sync

Once completed you will be able to use the phone app.
